Demo writing with Apple Pencil 1st Generation
You can use Apple Pencil to write on an iPad like they would on a piece of paper. And with the Notes app, they can even search their handwriting.
Follow these steps to show why writing notes is better with Apple Pencil.
1. Create a new note on Apple iPad.
Open Notes, then tap the icon in the upper-right corner to create a new note.

2. Write something with Apple Pencil.
Write a phrase, then use Apple Pencil to neatly write that phrase in the new note.

3. Show handwriting recognition.
Point out that the title of the new note has changed to the phrase you’ve written.

4. Search for what you wrote.
Swipe down in the sidebar to reveal the search field. Then tap the search field and type a few words from the phrase.
